Buying a quarter beef is the most cost-effective way to stock up on premium, grass-fed beef. A quarter contains a diverse variety of cuts and typically feeds a family of four for 4–6 months.
Freezer Space: You will need approximately 2 to 4 cubic feet of freezer space for a quarter beef. For additional details, please visit our “How to Buy” section.
We believe in making the process as clear as possible. Here is how the pricing works:
Reserve Your Share: Place your deposit to secure your beef for the upcoming harvest.
Customized for You: Once the beef is scheduled for processing, we will reach out to confirm your specific butcher instructions.
The Math: We charge $6/lb based on the carcass hanging weight (as weighed by the butcher). This results in a final cost of roughly $10/lb for the actual packaged meat you take home.
Estimated Total: A typical quarter yields 60–90 lbs of packaged meat, making the total final cost usually between $600 and $900.
The butcher will inform us when your beef is ready. At that time, we will coordinate a convenient drop-off location and time with you. Please note that the remaining balance of the order is due at the time of delivery or pickup.
