Beef Shares

  • Animal Shares are sold in quarters (1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and whole). The price is based on the final packaged weight on a $ per lb basis. To reserve a share you pay us a $200 deposit per quarter requested. The final price will be invoiced when the meat is picked up from the butcher. It will account for the deposit, taxes, and any special requests made to butcher. The balance is due upon pickup.

  • Each animal is different but generally, you should expect 60 - 90 lbs of packaged meat per quarter. This will take up 4 cubic feet of freezer space, and can generally feed a family of four for 4 months.

In addition, the offal (heart, tongue, kidneys, liver) is also available.

  • When you order before the processing date, we can provide you with the butcher’s cut sheet. You can specify and request specific packaging options.

We can guarantee that we pass along your instructions, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that no errors are made at the butcher. We will do our very best to ensure that you receive the cuts you request.
